the:RC II Learning Experiences In your words, describe four learning experiences (activities) that cover each of the following areas: RC II-1 Science/Sensory: A great activity for the children would be a container of sand fill with different shapes and they pick up different shapes out of the container and this is teaching them there shapes. RC II-2 Language and Literacy: little shape circle that spell a word of the childs knowledge that they can spell the hearts into a row and by the end of them spelling out the word with the little shape Circle they will add a head it should look like a caterpillar. as they spell out the word they will be able to sound out the word as well. RC II-3 Creative Arts: Drawing a shape onto construstion paper of the childs choice and then gluing tissue paper onto the construction paper inside the shape. RC II-4 Fine Motor (Indoor Activity): a container fill with cotton balls and the children will use twissorsand put the cotton balls into a cup next to the container. This will teach them how to hold a pencil and write eventually. RC II-5 Gross Motor (Outdoor Activity): an activity that would good for this area of study would be hop scotch. This will help the kids learn to hop and count there numbers. RC II-6 Self Concept: as a teacher they always want to know how well their students understood the lesson. so at the end of each lesson the student will self grade themselves on how well the think they learned on a scale of 4-1. RC II-7 Emotional Skills/Regulation: this activity will help the student express there emotion to the class. To begin the lesson the teacher will hand each student a pile of different color m&m and each color the teacher will ask to tell them about there emotion. RC II-8 Social Skills: a few things the class may enjoy is doing different things than just sitting at there chair the whole time with the same people. so for an activity the best thing would be centers and the students have to go tot different tables to meet new kids and maybe play games in groups as well. Accommodations: In this lesson it is all about meeting new people and sometimes kids can be shy especially if the child may be special needs. I think this would be a great way for that students would be able to make friends. RC II-9 Mathematics: a fun/creative way to learn a new math skill is maybe by using gummy bears and learning how to count them. This will teach the student how to count his/her numbers and maybe learn how to add or subtract. Accommodations: I think the best option to help student with learning to count is if they were put into groups or if they had individual help understanding the criteria that the teacher taught to the class.
